Celebrate KLM 90th Anniversary with Free Trips to Amsterdam & Laptops

The world’s oldest airline, KLM turns 90 on 7 October 2009, a joyous occasion to celebrate!  To commemorate 90 years of history, participate in the “KLM 90 Years of inspiration game” and stand a chance to start your own journey of inspiration to Amsterdam.  Just answer 3 simple questions about KLM.  **I will be providing some hints to help you in this game**

To play the game, go to http://www.90yearsklm.com/sg.  ClickPLAY THE GAME.

You will get a welcome screen with 3 destinations indicated – Amsterdam, Athens, Singapore.  The objective of the game is to fly the DC-2 KLM plane from Amsterdam to Singapore.  Don’t worry!  This is not a flight simulator game.   You simply have to answer 3 questions and each correct answer will fly you closer to your destination!  Click Next to proceed.

Some hints to help you with these questions.  1st Question is a no-brainer.  Barcelona and Moscow are cities in Spain and Russia respectively.  So that leaves …. ?

The answer to the 2nd question is (89 + 1).  If you still don’t get it, don’t worry – you should be able to find the answers in the following screenshots.

Hint for 3rd question: KLM operates 1 non-stop night flight on a daily basis out of Singapore to Amsterdam with a Boeing 777.

Once you have answered the 3 questions, submit your details – name and email address.

BONUS tip!  To increase your chances of winning the prizes, invite your friends to play the game.  The more friends you refer (maximum 5), the more chances you get!

1st Prize: A pair of KLM economy class return tickets to Amsterdam (Taxes included!)

This is a very awesome prize – Amsterdam is one of Europe’s great cities to visit.  The 17th century ‘Golden Age’ canal belt forms a distinguished cityscape, while the fast-developing waterfront looks to Amsterdam’s future.  There are also regular trains to other parts of  Holland e.g. Visit mini-Holland (Madurodam) at Den Haag or well preserved windmills and historic houses at Zaanse Schans.

Having experienced Holland during winter, I would have like to visit Amsterdam during its Tulip season or one of its big summer event like Over Het IJ Festival (an extravaganza of dance, music and theatre) or the interesting Amsterdam Gay Pride parade.  For more information on what you can see and do in Amsterdam, check out KLM’s destination guide.
