How To Enjoy More Savings For Your KL Trip

6 May, 2016

Kuala Lumpur is one of the top shopping destinations in Southeast Asia – and honestly, we are planning to visit it again; not just for the shopping spree but also for the gastronomic experience! Why wouldn’t we want to come back to this wonderful city? Especially now that we’ve discovered the joy of booking through online travel sites.

The Internet does make our lives easier, and we love how we can do so much from the comfort of our home with just our laptop or mobile phone. Booking for holidays has become a breeze when we book via any one of these online travel sites such as Skyscanner, Expedia, Traveloka, Agoda, or Booking.com. Here’s how these online sites have made our flight and hotel arrangement in KL way easier!

Flying to Kuala Lumpur

We are planning to fly to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore, and we found a super affordable flight deal when searching online on Traveloka! To get the best flight deals, we compared a few of the flight booking platforms before making a final decision. To our surprise, we managed to find the cheapest flight ticket on Traveloka! S$41.72 for a one way ticket to KL, isn’t that a great steal?

Accommodation in Kuala Lumpur

Once we’ve booked our flight tickets, our hotel is the next thing we need to settle. Of course, we’ve already had a particular hotel in mind. Last Easter, our friends stayed in Pacific Regency Hotel Suites Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang, and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay there. The Pacific Regency Hotel Suites Kuala Lumpur fares much better in comparison to the other hotels in town in terms of cleanliness, comfort and service. In terms of pricing, it is considered as an affordable place to stay, especially for those with a budget of about S$100 per night. We opted for their Superior Suite.

Through Traveloka, we realised that it would cost us about S$95 for a night’s stay, which is within our budget. However, you should always look further, and who knows, you might be able to find a better deal. All in all, technology has enabled ease of travel through these online booking sites, not just for easier, quicker transaction… but also for their attractive prices.

What online travel sites do you usually use for your flight or hotel booking? Let us know, and share with us if there are more sites we don’t know about… because sharing is caring!
