周杰伦 Jay Chou’s most recent album “Opus 12” – the name symbolizing his 12th Mandarin album has been widely received and he now follows up with his eargerly anticipated world tour which lets fans see Jay Chou’s accumulation of his hard work since his first album in 2000.

The 周杰伦 Jay Chou Concert brought back a lot of memories for me – can’t believe that he has been performing for 12 years now – I remembered following his songs back during my army days as with many of my army mates then.

12 years on, Jay Chou still has plenty to give through his songs which cover a variety of genres and themes. Fans can dance to Jay’s signature raps as well as croon along with him through his soulful ballads. Lyrics for each of the songs that he performed were flashed on a huge screen and most fans sang along with him – creating a very fun and exciting atmosphere which can never be replicated by watching a DVD of the concert!

One of his older songs – a very electrifying performance of 雙截棍 Nunchucks – he threw his green nunchucks into the audience – hope that it didn’t anyone in the head 🙂
