Having checked out Inner Mongolia’s 希拉穆仁草原 and 响沙湾 Desert and Xi’an 兵马俑 for the past week, we decided to stopover at Hangzhou for a breather from our busy travel itinerary – here at Hangzhou, we had the opportunity to check out one of the oldest Shangri-La hotel in China and an impressive performance 印象西湖 created by acclaimed director Zhang Yimou.
