With the theme of Night Safari Halloween Horrors going Asian this year, this is the best place to source for traditional Chinese wedding ideas – be it the costumes of the bride/groom, matchmaker and the various decorations associated with such weddings. The best thing is that I can check out these ideas from the comfort of my Night Safari Train of Terror (I wonder why they call them “Terror” – seems like there are always helpful beings coming by to share their ideas).

For my new house’s renovation ideas, there is always the famous Gui Mansion at Singapore Zoo which had attracted thousands of viewers daily – it must have been due to the excellent house decor. Wonder who’s the interior designer – perhaps the best way to find out is through a tour of this mansion – furthermore, the occupants seem to be very enthusiastic about visitors – admittedly they are not very conversant but they have their own ways of expressing themselves (through arrghh-ing ).

After a long night of shopping around Night Safari and Singapore Zoo, I can go to my favorite food stall – the Dim Sum cart which had adopted a very “hands-on” approach to food delivery.

Hope that i can win this pair of Night Safari Halloween Horrors to do a site recce to get more ideas for Chinese wedding and house decor. Thank you!

While MRT trains have the Dim Sum Dollies chiming “Love your ride”, I want to sit the Train of Horrors which I’m sure will make me “love your life” as I hope my head does not become Siew Mai for the Dim Sum cart. I have never celebrated Halloween before so I’m hoping I can relive those childhood memories in a morbid way. (Cinderella pierced by her own slipper, A Joker (Batman) lookalike Snow White poisoned by the Queen’s apple, Aladdin’s Genie trying to hoodwink another mortal to take his place in the lamp). I am dying (pun intended) to undergo this frightening experience and unleash the inner nocturnal beast in me at the same time.

For these 4 years I stayed in Singapore, I had never celebrate Halloween even once, I know how lame is that. As a foreign student, I’ve been dreaming about experiencing the heart-pumping Halloween events in Singapore since there is no such event in my home country. I was (am) always so excited welcoming this festive moment, having to see myself frightened yet excited. Unfortunately my exams always fall on end of October which had me just to sit in my room facing my thick lecture notes and enjoyed a minute of envious entertainment by clicking away friends exciting-Halloween-pictures posted on face book. After a long-four-years of waiting, I finally graduated and without a shadow of doubt, I ensure myself to jump into this horror experience no matter what. Though ghost is my biggest fear and I know this will scare my pants off, but I am more than willing to be scared at the Night Safari Halloween Horror and have no voice left for job interview. Thus winning these ticket will be a perfect complement for my first Halloween experience and I couldn’t be happier to experience this heart dropping moment.

hi, I was there last year impromptu as I had friends visiting from Germany, and as with for all my overseas visitors, I always feel that the night safari is a must-go. Anyway, when we were there last year, we did not realise then that the popular halloween party was on that night. we can see, just queueing at the entrance that people are having fun. unfortunately, my visitors had their 4-year daughter with them and were unable to wait too long in the queue and we had to give the visit a miss, though we did enjoy the walk outside, with the “soul-less zombies” floating amongst us. i had promised my 11-year son that we will be back this year… and the timing is perfect, we plan to be there after this year end examinations and this is a reward for him “if” he does well in his exam. He, in fact, we are looking forward to the party. i am going to get my nephews and nieces along, the more the marrier!

I know I will be freaked out for sure the moment things start to get more exciting. Unlike everyone else who thrives on blood and gore, I am terrified of them all. People who watch horror shows with me get freaked out not by the happenings in the show but by me because I scream my lungs out and jump out of my skin even when there’s nothing scary. So if I win the tickets, you won’t need to play the recordings of people screaming their lungs out. I can be your best amplifier. Conserve energy. Let me scream to my heart’s content instead.

Since halloween is the only time where innocuous thrills and fantasy that go with that special time of the year, i am really keen to explore night safari and get wicked with the ghost and tourmented souls there! This will be my first time celebrating halloween and i am sure if i am given the chance to win this tickets, this wont be the last time i’ll celebrate halloween! Let this be a challenge for me so that i can put a test on myself in overcoming my fears.. If i come out alive(heh!), i can proudly tell my friends im not a scardey cat anymore. (since they aways teased me about that) And of course… What is halloween without going all lengths to dress up? Let’s just see what im able to come up with if i win the tickets

Deep down, i’m a kid, we’re all kids. And the best thing about halloween is the feeling of hopelessness. How does a kid fight monsters? They’re invincible. Knowing that evil exists in the world is not good enough. I want to see it. Most of the time we don’t get too see it around us, we don’t get to experience the full force of evil. But there comes a time once a year, when halloween comes, and when you get scared shitless, even for the few seconds before you console yourself that this is all man made, is the time that you feel the hopelessness and intense fear. And that’s why i want to have my seconds of fear at the night safari, because when you put all of the individual scares together, i might leave the night safari just convinced that evil has left together with me.

The creatures look spooky and horrified enough to scare the wits out of most people. However, the more I will like to challenge myself to it by scaring the characters there back instead! So please let me go so that visitors there might get to see creatures to be “scared creatures” instead of “scary creatures”.
