The 2009 Asia-Pacific Nuffnang Blog Award Ceremony was held last Friday (23 October 2009) at the Pan Pacific Ballroom. As a finalist in the Best Travel Blog category, we were invited to attend this exclusive and prestigious award ceremony.
A video of all the Best Travel Blog finalists’ work (see below) was shown before the Best Travel Blog winner was announced. Very good effort by the Nuffnang team in putting together these videos. 
Unfortunately, we did not win the Best Travel Blog Award. It went to Ironwulf – a professional travel blogger from the Philippines. He had also won a number of blog awards back in the Philippines and was even a judge in a recent Filipino blog award competition. Kudos to him!
Nonetheless it is still a very enjoyable award ceremony – the dinner was great especially the chocolate cake dessert was just heavenly. We also had the opportunity to network with other travel bloggers from around the region.

The big winner of the night is definitely Xiaxue with 3 awards – one of which is the Best of all Best awards – Asia-Pacific Best Blog!
