5 September, 2012

Sentosa is celebrating its Big 4-0! Yes! Sentosa is 40 years old! And there are lots of fun activities and free admission to some attractions (for guests born in 1972) in Sentosa to celebrate this. Until 30 September 2012, visitors to Sentosa can check out unique, monumental sand sculptures carefully crafted to depict the story of Sentosa’s wondrous transformation over 40 years to the Sentosa it is today. Check out these Sandy Treasures at Beach Plaza from 9am til 11pm. These sand sculptures are not by the beach – they are just beside the big iFly Singapore building. Admission is free!

There was also an ice train sculpture and guests can enjoy cold drinks from a drink dispenser sculpted like an ice luge. Unfortunately, there are no more ice slides and train today as all had melted away!

Sentosa was not that fun previously. Now it can easily be recognized as “Sentosa Theme Park” equivalent. Thank you PassportChop.com !
