Until 30 September 2012, visitors to Sentosa can check out unique, monumental sand sculptures carefully crafted to depict the story of Sentosa’s wondrous transformation over 40 years to the Sentosa it is today. Check out these Sandy Treasures at Beach Plaza from 9am til 11pm. These sand sculptures are not by the beach – they are just beside the big iFly Singapore building. Admission is free!
Only on 1 September 2012, there was Asia’s first outdoor ice playground by the beach which features 2 ice slides, measuring five-metre and eight-metre. Check out the fun that this little girl had sliding this ice slide!
There was also an ice train sculpture and guests can enjoy cold drinks from a drink dispenser sculpted like an ice luge. Unfortunately, there are no more ice slides and train today as all had melted away!
Sentosa guests Born in 1972 enjoy free admission to Sentosa 4D Magix and Tiger Sky Tower til 30 September 2012. Just present your NRIC or work permit for free entry. Guests can also purchase subsequent pair of tickets to Tiger Sky Tower at $4 off!
Until 9 September, the 37-metre tall Merlion Tower will be transformed into a massive digital canvas as 3D video images will be projected onto its facade. This takes places from 8.30pm til 10.30pm.
You can also be mesmerised by an international cast of street performers who will bring eclectic acts of acrobatics, trick cycling, circus comedy and magic all over Sentosa. This Sentosa Buskers Festival will last til 8 September 2012 and takes place from 4pm til 10pm island wide. check out buskers.sentosa.com.sg for a brochure of the Sentosa Buskers Festival.
