Top 10 Singapore OMY Blog Awards Lifestyle Blog Finalist – PassportChop.com

28 May, 2010

Greetings from Turkey! The PassportChop team (ZQ & TY) is currently travelling around Turkey for 2 weeks til 31 May. Apologies for the lack of blog posts for the past week as we only had intermittent Internet connection in Turkey. As usual, we will be sharing with you our Turkey travelling experiences and reviews and tips to help you plan your trip if you intend to go free and easy in Turkey. Just a quick preview of our interesting journey – we visited the famous Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) and it was a surreal experience as we get to soak our feet in rich minerals that gave this area its distinctive white structure – almost like a castle made of cotton – thus the name Pamukkale.

On another note, we are pleased to inform you that PassportChop.com is a top 10 finalist vying for the OMY Blog Awards Best Lifestyle Blog category. This is another huge milestone for the blog considering that it was only set up only in July 09 (less than 10 months old) and it complements the recognition given to the blog in Oct 09 when PassportChop was the top 5 Travel Blog in the Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards. Thank you for your support and please vote for us if you find our contents helpful in your travel planning and according to the definition of the Lifestyle Blog category, you feel that PassportChop.com shares information that will light up someone’s boring lifestyle (尽收生活中不可或缺的知识、享受人生的资讯), then vote for us! 🙂

Before we rush off for another day of exploration in Istanbul, let me leave you with another picture from the southeastern part of Turkey – the mystical and pious Sanliurfa (the Prophets’ City). Here I am wishing for luck by the sacred pool of carps for our OMY Blog Awards pursuit. More stories and pictures when we return…
