What to Do in Singapore

Waffle Factory @ Eunos Singapore Post Office Mall

For this issue of ‘What to do in Singapore”, we experienced one of Singapore’s favorite pastimes – eating but in a bigger (-> Buffets) and unique (-> Waffle Buffets!) way.  This small eatery was featured in a Singaporean food variety shows as well as a number of local newspaper lifestyle reports for its unique variety of waffles e.g. oreo, durian, honey.

Check out the bright decor of the Waffle Factory outlet and the yummy looking posters indicating what they have to offer.

Waffle Factory

From 10am to 10pm daily, you can experience an all-you-can-eat buffet of waffles of many different flavours.  You can also pick from a (One-time) selection of ice-creams and drinks to complement your waffles.  All these for just $8.80!

If somehow you are still hungry, you can top-up $3 for a main course e.g. spaghetti.

However, you should also take note of some house rules e.g. the standard buffet wastage charges.  As the Durian flavor waffles is the most requested flavor at Waffle Factory, each buffet diner is entitled to only 1 Durian flavor waffle.

Meun and Rules

A snapshot of what we ate – 12 waffles + 1 ice cream crispy waffle + 1 chocolate float.

Our favorite waffle flavors – Durian (Must-Try!), Oreo Chocolate, Butter Corn, Nacho Cheese

Waffles and Ice cream
Burp!  We will be staying off waffles for at least 2 more weeks….

We rate Waffle Factory @ Singapore Post Office Mall:

  • Food (Warm Yummy Waffles but quite sick of it after a while):                                                3.5/5
  • Ambiance (simple and quiet – probably because we were early (10am)):                           3/5
  • Service (helpful and friendly; service was fast too):                                                                     4/5
  • Location (just beside Paya Lebar MRT – easy to find ):                                                               4/5
  • Value (reasonable for a many varieties of waffle + drink):                                                        4/5

Hi Eurnice, the waffle factory is quite a small eatery, very easily for one to overlook it. However the colour of the restaurant is quite striking therefore is not that hard to find it either. And yes.. you are right it’s next to Paya Lebar MRT.

Hi Wayang

I think you are referring to the WaffleTown at Balmoral Plaza.. I don’t think they offer waffle buffet but I think theirs just as good.

The waffles buffet should still be on – since thats the shop’s signature menu. It has been less than a month since we went – don’t think they will close down soon.

There isn’t a time limit when we went cos it was quite early. No time limit was specified too.

The nearest MRT station is Paya Lebar. You have to call them to ask if the buffet is still on (goggle search for their official number). Hope it helps. ;)

its been almost a year since we visited the outlet so policies might have changed – i suggest that you call them to confirm if the buffet is still on, together with the 1 hour policy.

another suggestion is to go early when there weren’t a lot of ppl around – the staff might be more laxed on this policy then but trust me by the 3oth minute, you would be quite sick of the waffles. :-)
