CityState Dream Cruise Holiday
9 August, 2009There is an ongoing “Submit You Dream Cruise Holiday” writing competition organized by CityState Travel, an IATA-accredited travel agency
with extensive experience in customizing leisure tours of all types, including cruises and adventure tours to any destination in the world.
You don’t have to write an essay to win the $100 travel voucher. I had simplified that process for you to one easy step
- Vote for my submitted entry (No. 62 @ http://www.sailawayholiday.com/dream_view_photo.php?id=62) to stand a chance to win the voucher.
- To increase your chances of winning, Vote once a day everyday until voting closes (23 August)
If you are feeling a bit lost, just follow the steps in these screenshots:
1. Go to my submitted entry page: No. 62 @ http://www.sailawayholiday.com/dream_view_photo.php?id=62 and enter in your particulars (Name, NRIC and Email) to vote (see below screenshot for area circled in red)
2. Once you have cast your vote, you will be brought to a Thank You page which informs you that you can vote everyday to increase your winning chances (see below screenshot for area circled in yellow). So vote daily until 23 August. Winners will be announced in the website and press ads on 30 August.
You must be thinking: “What am I voting for and what do PassportChop.com stand to gain from winning this competition?”
I had submitted an entry for the Dream Cruise Holiday category competition and the prize of winning this competition is a 5D4N Southeast Cruise onboard the Royal Carribean Legends of the Sea. See below for the entry I submitted at No. 62 @ http://www.sailawayholiday.com/dream_view_photo.php?id=62 :

Flying into the Italian City of Bridges – Venice where we will start our Mediterranean cruise, we shake off our jet lag by relaxing and absorbing the sights on a gondola ride through narrow Venetian canals. We will then explore Venice on foot, along quaint cobblestone streets and endless bridges before stopping at the Rialto Bridge to shop for unique Venetian glass souvenirs.

We proceed for our cruise to the oldest city in the world – Athens. No visit to Athens would be complete without a visit to the Acropolis where we will see the Parthenon, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring sights. Walk around the ruins of the Acropolis to soak in the rich history of the region which had seen legendary battles such as Trojan War and Persian war which inspired the ‘300’ movie. After this we will go souvenir-hunting for traditional handicraft in old Athens neighbourhoods.

Next shore destination – the Greek island of Mykonos. Greek mythology had it that Hercules slew the Giants here; the large rocks that are scattered about the island are said to be their petrified corpses. Together with the ancient ruins in nearby Delos island, it is a dream for historical buffs like me, to visit these places. We will then spend the rest of the afternoon exploring white-washed shops and homes of these beautiful islands before indulging in local Grecian cuisine with its rich mix of honey, olive oil.
While cruising, an array of activities awaits us ranging from a leisurely game at the miniature golf course to strenuous rock-climbing at one of its challenging rock walls on board. We can also enjoy the sunny Mediterranean summer by chilling out at one of the ship’s outdoor pool in a Solarium with a sliding roof. Now that’s what I call a holiday – no need to worry about hotel bookings and luggage transfers!

Please vote for me here: http://www.sailawayholiday.com/dream_view_photo.php?id=62 so I can share with you my 5D4N Isles of Southeast Asia cruise experience on board the Royal Caribbean Legends, here @ PassportChop.com

I have won the 5D4N Isles of Southeast Asia Royal Caribbean Legends Cruise!
Here’s a picture of me posing with my prize – a gift voucher for the 5D4N Cruise as well as the managing director and staff (she was the lady at the bottom right hand corner of Sailawayholiday.com microsite).
Thanks for your support. Check out my experiences onboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Legend of the Seas on this blog. 🙂

It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: You’ve never quite sure whether it’s ok to eat green crisps. Thanks for the info.
