Riverside Dining Bohemian Style at Two Marys’ Restaurant

The Two Marys is one of Český Krumlov’s best restaurant.  It is tucked away on a narrow cobbled lane so do check with the locals on how to get here.

This restaurant offers delicious, healthy and authentically Bohemian meals served by friendly waiters for reasonable prices.

The menu informs you what’s available in the restaurant in four languages and explains the history of the building, and the idea behind the restaurant i.e. keep alive traditional bohemian cuisine from Medieval times.

We ordered a baked millet casserole for 106Kč and a pie.

The Old Bohemian Feast starts from 125Kč per person for both the chicken or vegetarian versions.  For more exotic flavors – rabbit or pheasant, you have to pay a little bit more.

See picture below for The Old Bohemian Feast (chicken) with Žahour (sweet creamy dumplings with blueberry sauce).
