London – Arrival at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4

Flight from Singapore to London

Took a 12-Hour long flight from Singapore (Singapore time – 10:55pm) to London (London time – 5: 10am).  The time difference between London and Singapore was 8 hours

It seems customary for travel blogs to put photos of clouds and the plane wing, although asian or european clouds look the same – so here goes…  BTW note the neatly arranged rows of English houses on the right picture.

How can the blog “PassportChop.com” not have pictures of Passport?!  So here we have a picture of our passports and UK Landing Card (Note: Must Fill in the Fields in BLOCK LETTERS) with our PassportChop.com watermark.

I am sorry (*embarassed*) – have to do a bit of selling for the blog there.  OK.  Promise that you will get better, more meaningful pictures e.g. beautiful architecture, scenery, our handsome and pretty faces and unimaginative standard poses.

After a gruelling 13-Hour + flight, we finally arrived at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 at 5:15 am.  Thankfully, we had a good English breakfast on the flight or else we will all become walking zombies.  I will provide a review on our British Airways flight later.

Getting from Heathrow Airport to London

There are many ways to get to London from Heathrow.  If you are in a rush, you can reach London City (Paddington Station) in less than 30 minutes via the Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect.  However, the most cost-effective way is to take the London Underground (affectionately termed “Tube” because of its trains’ tube-like interior).

It took us about 40 minutes to reach Earls’ Court (Tube station nearest our accommodation – easyHotel) and cost £2 during peak hour (£1.10 at other times).
