Dining at Paris Disneyland Cinderella Auberge de Cendrillon Restaurant

21 August, 2010

Being in Disneyland has always been a magical and fun experience, ever since my first time at Hong Kong Disneyland in March this year (2010). This time, we had the opportunity to visit Paris Disneyland during the hot August summer.

There is no better way to enjoy the magical festivities at Paris Disneyland than to dine with Princesses at the Cinderella princess-themed Auberge de Cendrillon. The restaurant exterior itself is designed like a mini-castle with beautiful flowers decorating its surroundings. We had a dinner reservation at 6.30pm and we were surprised by the long queue at the door. Turns out the queue was for a picture with the beautiful Cinderella.

Even while having your dinner, you will be greeted with characters from various princess stories e.g. the mouses who helped Snow White in cleaning her aunt’s house and even different princesses and princes from various Disney cartoons and films. For our dinner, we had the Prince’s Cocktail with Miniature Appetizer (which is Prawns on sticks). This is then followed by The Three Fairies’ Delicacies which comprises of Foie Gras, Smoked Salmon and Tomato Tartare.

For main course, we had Scallops with Champagne Sauce (with a side dish of Asparagus Risotto) which was very yummy and tasteful. Our table also had the Chef’s Suggestion of the day – Codfish with a side dish of mashed potatoe – very fresh and filling.

This set meal comes with the unique Cinderella’s Delight dessert (which is a very interesting dish that I shall share more about in the next post) as well as coffee and selection of wines and mineral water. This Auberge de Cendrillon Adult Menu set cost €52.90 per pax. The Children’s menu (for kids aged 3 to 14) cost €24.80. If you are on Paris Disneyland Half Board Premium plan, your Adult menu is included as part of the meal plan – do note that wines are not included if you are using the voucher – a bottle of white wine cost an additional €17.
