TravelGrove Compare and Save Portal Review

For trip planning, I leverage on a number of travel portals e.g. Zuji, Priceline for the latest promotions on hotels and airfares, as well as a range of forums e.g. Tripadvisor to check out the reviews.  TravelGrove.com offers the best of both worlds by combining community-generated reviews with an aggregator of flight and accommodation bookings which compares prices from different providers.  Besides cheap airfares, TravelGrove.com also provides booking information for cruises and car rentals, making it one of the most complete travel portals in the market.

While sourcing for cheap flights to Orlando for an probable upcoming trip, I was able to identify the cheapest month to fly and where I could embark on for this domestic flight trip.  There were also some tips on flight routes which enabled me to identify the best deals available.

Besides flight bookings, TravelGrove.com also provided another value-added service – Wiki-style destination travel guide like this Singapore travel guide which provides an overview of the best places to go for food and have fun.  This, coupled with user-generated comments and reviews, provide for a one-stop portal for anyone planning an itinerary.
