Annual or Single Travel Insurance – Knowing What’s the Best One for Your Needs
14 December, 2010We all know the dangers of travelling (unfortunately, some of us better than others!) and, therefore, we all know the importance of getting covered. A good travel insurance policy is essential, especially if you’re travelling worldwide. But when it comes to choosing between a single or an annual policy, which one should you go for?
Well, the answer is that it all depends on your travel habits. Single policies are great if you’re going away once or twice in the next 12 months. They tend to be really flexible and relatively cheap too. However, if you’re going away a bit more often, single travel insurance can be quite expensive.
This is where annual multi-trip policies can prove a lifesaver. Annual policies are designed to cover a number of different trips throughout the year and they usually work out cheaper than if you covered all those trips with single policies.
Whether you choose a single or an annual policy, make sure that the cover you choose is comprehensive but not too costly. After all, who wants to use all their spending money on travel insurance?

I’ve planning to travel a lot next year, so coming across this post thought me some good lessons.
Thanks.
