Now that school is out, fun is in. To help students, teachers and their family and friends make the most of their school break, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is offering value-added packages at 71 participating Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders hotels.
The “School’s Out, Fun’s In” packages are available from 15 June to 31 August 2013 at 43 Greater China hotels, and 28 hotels and resorts in Australia, Fiji, France, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Sultanate of Oman and United Arab Emirates. A valid student identity card or teacher identity card must be presented at check-in.
Among the offerings of the school holiday packages are:
· Breakfast for two adults and one student
· Leisure and recreational activities such as a dolphin cruise, historic tour, cooking class, etc., or a spa or food and beverage credit
· Room upgrade for teachers upon presentation of their teacher identity card
· Optional activities at special rates
Different Shangri-La hotels around the world offer different “School’s Out, Fun’s In”. For example, Shangri-La Beijing offers a very unique “School’s Out, Fun’s In” package with cooking classes at STAY pastry, free yoga/tai-chi session for parents and welcome amenities for children below 16 years old – making a stay at Shangri-La Beijing a very fun holiday (or staycation for Beijing residents) for both adults and children alike.
For the foodies – Daily breakfast is provided for 3 persons as well as one buffet lunch or dinner at Café Cha with coffee and tea (max 3 persons per room per stay). There are also lots of activities at Shangri-La Beijing to keep the little ones engaged during a stay at Shangri-La Beijing e.g. one-hour long classes in different areas: swimming, dancing, painting, Chinese calligraphy, sand painting or doll making for just RMB 250 nett per child (about 50 Singapore dollars)! Some hotels also offer complimentary cinema tickets and ice skating tickets as part of the package.
